Post subject:  Common solutions for Lost Connection

Greetings everyone,

This thread contains a list of common solutions regarding lost connection in Panzar.

1)Make sure other internet programs are closed (torrent, browser and etc).

These programs might take up your internet bandwidth, especially if they are actively downloading files, resulting in a poor or no connection at all. Also make sure nobody else in the local network is downloading files and using all the bandwidth.

2)Try resetting the router.

Switch off the router and wait for 10 seconds. After that turn in back on and let it run for 5 min on its own. After that, test the connection.

3)Check that you run game with admin privileges.

You can either start the game by Right-clicking the game launcher -> Run as administrator. Alternatively you can set to open the game by default with admin rights by Right-clicking on the game launcher -> Select "Properties"-> Select Compatibility tab at the top of the window -> check the box that says “Run this program as administrator” -> Click Apply -> Click OK.

4)Make sure you have the following ports opened either in your router firewall or/and in your Windows firewall:

    443

    45101-45107

    45200-45239

To open the ports in Windows firewall you need to do the following:

    a. Choose Start -> Control Panel.
(if you use category view) - Click the System and Security link and then click Windows Firewall.
(if you use large or small icon view) - Just click Windows Firewall
    b. On the left, click the Advanced Settings link.
    c. On the left, click Inbound Rules. Then, on the right, under Actions, click the New Rule link and click Next.
    d. In the Specific Local Ports box, type the ports you want to open, separated by commas ( In this case, the TCP ports that need to be opened are 433, 45101-45107, 45200-45239) and then click Next.
    e. Choose Allow the Connection and click Next.
    f. Check the boxes for Private or any other desired network type, and then click Next.
    g. Type a name (For example "Panzar"). Click Finish.

To open ports for the router please see the user manual or manufacturer's website for details. Alternatively, you can also use the default guides for the routers at http://portforward.com/ and add TCP ports 433, 45101-45107, 45200-45239.
In case you are running third party firewall systems, refer to the software website to find the latest manual for the program

5) Try disabling Antivirus during gameplay.
It might be that antivirus blocks the incoming/out coming connections. You can turn it off during the gameplay, usually it can be down by right clicking on the icon in the system tray, which is located on the left bottom of the screen and selecting the appropriate function for disabling the antivirus.

    Suggestions you have tried out.
    Attach dxdiag and MSInfo files.

Attach log files which can be made following these steps:

Find logs by following folder path (if the game has been installed into the default path) C:\Games\Panzar\LogBackups
Make a zip package of that folder (Right-click on the folder -> Send to Compressed zip folder)
