As stated before some players don't like the idea of everyone looking the same at some point in the game (when we all earned our highrank "ubergear")
AriOrH considered customization as n option in the future content... so my solution would be:

EVENTS !! (yeah i know, way to early to talk about such things )
but...
there could be tournaments with special gearsets that wont be accessible after the event... no one else would look like the winning team.
plus - you could definitely recognise "veterans" by their looks... could have some very impressive effect on your enemy to see the "UBERVANQUISHER SEASON 1" joining the battle

Good Idea torough i want to see huge Events. gief Tints to paint armor

Currently it takes about 1-2 weeks to create new armor set multiplied on each race. 8)
So it's a great idea about global game events but we have to make a lot preparations for each event. For us it's the time to decide what is better - more arenas and scenarios or more character customization.

there will be plenty of time for new gears and events after launch... and MOAR arenas and scenarios

I think the most important thing is to keep in mind that many players don't like to look like another and it is important to give the opportunity to customize in some way and I my oppinion events would be a nice way to do that... at least later...

In a small team I understand that this takes a lot of time and there are many other things which are more important to work on... but like you all said... maybe later?! Would be great!
