Re: F2P or P2P?
I can go on forever why i dont like COD. Activision completely screwed over Infinity Ward and the PC platform with MW2. No dedicated servers AT ALL, massive cheating, the game runs through steam, the netcode is terrible, the perk system is catered to people who lack skill in an area, the kill streaks just help campers even more, the deathstreaks cater to noobs, the guns have no recoil, the guns are badly balanced, the maps are too small, the player slots per server is too small, the Singleplayer is just thrown together and makes just about no sense other than "I KILL YOU", and the co-op is just more of the Singleplayer POS, but with a friend. They completely screwed over PC gaming and Activision got what they deserved. IW is done for, Activision is overwhelmed by their own greed and will not be as great as they used to, and Treyarch will be forced to make all the other COD games, which will fail. COD will never be a hit again. EA is where its at, yo. Did i give enough reasons?

Re: F2P or P2P?
A bit offtopic, no?
So far it's pretty hard to put the game in a genre. On one side it's an rpg with mmo elements with progression and such, but there is no open world gameplay, and all the gameplay is in happening in small scale battles kind of like playing on a server in the style of Team Fortress 2. So I'm thinking, since the game is not open world you would think that massive servers are not needed. But then again, looking at Team Fortress 2, all the servers are run by the community. I don't know how much server space is needed to run something like this, but i would think that it is allot because of the mmorpg elements and the needed server process power to calculate the actions of the FPS style gameplay. I can imagine it being P2P, but I personally would not pay the traditional 10-15$ because it is not open world and seems to be missing the "sandbox" element. I think a one time payment is much more fitting for this style of game. Judging from the information already available about the game, it seems like the major part of the game is a FPS/TPS(third person shooter) style game, set in "small" arenas, mixed with progression and customization like the traditional shooter.
No matter what payment plan Forged by Chaos is going to be, I will definitely consider it. The game looks amazing so far, and I'm very much looking forward to some more actual gameplay footage.

Re: F2P or P2P?
I am sure this will be Free 2 play considering that the game is based on Arena styled/Battleground PVP and RPG Character progression.
This is not an MMO where you go and do whatever you want, it looks like a game where you and friends just say "Hey, let's jump in ventrilo and play some Forged By Chaos" You can either play a game or two, or play it for hours or days.
To me it seems like a game where you can easily jump in quick and have fun, or you can go in for a long haul overall and have a blast.
MMOs are more like where, you can't really jump in for 30 minutes or an hour to accomplish something, you need dedication, people and the time to do it. Therefore I believe this will be a free 2 play game.

Re: F2P or P2P?
Aye that`s the problem of WOW right AriOh takes like 2 months to hit the lvl cap.. during those you just want to hit the max to PVP or Raid.. but then if you cant stay more then 2 hours minium it doesnt worth to raid... and sometimes pvp battles takes to long... thats why im loving FBC.. because you can jump anytime and have fun with the folks and with the gamedev team Please
