The piece you are looking at is from year 2008. As CryEngine2 was the base for the Panzar at that moment. During mid-development process developers switched to cryengine3 over cryengine2, as they stated that under Panzar Studio page http://www.panzarstudio.com/

Hope this enlightens things, and remove confusion it may have caused.
