Panzar: Forged By Chaos alpha-test lasts already for several months and we are constantly optimizing the game, fixing bugs, adding new game elements and also working on the graphic side of the project. In next few days we will install a new patch which includes a lot of items and decisions which our users have been waiting. We have held several tournaments and show-matches which revealed the need of adding “Freeze-time” in the game – the delay before the start of the battle, which allows leveling the difference in players’ computer performance at the beginning of the battle and all players will start the game simultaneously. In addition to voice chat a text chat was added. From now on, any player can send messages to all players in the match as well as only to his teammates. This will let players to coordinate their actions during the battle. Also damage indicator has been added. Now, when a player hits the opponent, he can see how much damage he has done. The same indicator shows critical hits (damage becomes red) and the amount of healed health (it becomes green). In this patch we will introduce number of visual changes. Lots of them were made for Elfs. The appearance of these characters has undergone significant changes: character model, skin’s color as well as make-up were added to their faces. Generally, this made them more familiar to the most of players. Moreover, Wizard has got a new weapon - Shakram, which resulted in the processing of most of the combat animations of the character. Elf has received a new banner in addition to new weapon. This whole package allowed visually “dilute” the two Elfs’ characters. That will help players to focus better on the battlefield. A similar situation now exists with humans. We have replaced the Inquisitors banner. In our opinion, this will allow players to allocate better specific classes during the battle. Besides the appearance of the characters we have processed and added some visual effects. Now, cast interruption effect of "Pneumo Maul" or "Distract" is displayed on the HUD. A lot of work was made to increase the system’s capacity. In particular, we were able to increase CPU capacity almost in two times. Now players who have experienced difficulties due to lack of processor performance can have good experience of playing Panzar: Forged by Chaos. |
