Feedback and Suggestions from the released video today should be put here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cT7ewPw3mLw My feedback is that I like it a lot. The game seems to have a lot going for it and some awesome tactics seem like it could be taking root in game development. My suggestions is that im not sure that the teamplay elements of the game are going to be emphasized enough. I just cant see 6 players standing in a circle to summon a giant monster, unless their is some incentive to doing so. With no incentive for teamplay, most of the teamplay elements that it looks like you put into the game will not be used. Just something to keep in mind. |

100%/signed! the ambush-trailer is awesome!!! you realy get the feeling of intense and fast actiongameplay. Talons point about emphasizing teamplay is true though - what ever this summoned giant was... the "ritual" (or whatever those dwarfs where doing there in the dirt instead of ... fighting ) must be worth the trouble. you seem to be quite on show while casting this thing and it might even be interuptable by enemies and if so - not easy to do while chased down the map. is this summoning bound to specific spots on the battleground? is it a special abillity retricted to a class? the updated weapon-section also looks very nice, hope to see elves/humans stuff soon whats the deal with "power attacks" compared to "normal attacks"? i guess "normal" means autohit and "power attack" is the damage you deal with skills? seems like the specialists melee-weapons deal the highest damage... at least per swing. how does the tank-class damageoutput compare with the specialists dps? whats the damage inflicted by a fireball compared to one hit with the specialists club? do hitrates vary by class or weapon? questions over questions... i have to get hands on this game!! |

Actually this was done specially for the trailer 8). Originally in the game a one player can summon a demon, with team cooldown on him. Other team can summon another of three demons as a countermeasure. Demons cannot charge an attack, they will only defend team positions so you have to summon them in strategic places. Regarding powerattacks. Autoattack function is not about our game 8). We have simple attacks that can be applied at any time. Every successful simple attack (hit a non-blocked target) will gain to you powerpoints that can be used for powerattack. Powerattack very powerfull and can even blow enemies away from you, but it has restrictions in movement speed. It will make you unable to move after it for a short period of time (0.1 - 0.5 sec depending on a weapon style). We already have some small tactics on using powerattacks - for example some people loves fast weapons cus they gain power attacks faster, and powerattack delays are shorter. But even clubs can gain powerpoints fast if you hit right. It has wider damage zone compared to fast weapons(hit 3-4 unblocked people in a row and it will give you 3-4 powerpoints). But the skilled players uses different weapon styles to be most effective - fists for the fast blow attacks, one armed weapons for duels and two handed weapons for group fights and finishing enemies. Powerattacks is the mechanism to prize players for effective timing of simple attacks and blocking. It may sounds very simple but it quite tricky win a duel. 8) |

This video is great!! I've never seen anything that would be compareable to it and you already exceeded my expectations The thoughts behind the weapons and the attacks sound very nice and I'm sure all this will lead to a great gameplay! At the end this orc is getting smashed by some rocks from above... are you able to do sth. like this also in a match? What you guys are doing is overwhelming1 Can't wait to play this game!!! |

Yep, this is one of the scenario elements that anyone can trigger (you can even smash your teammates 8)) . This map has predator flowers in the swamp, falling stones trap, spiked pendulums and lowering platforms on one of capture points. We are planning to do a lot of this stuff on maps to make gameplay more interesting. |

That video was amazing. It certainly looks like fights in this game are going to be interesting to say the least. |

I'm watching this vid again and again I've seen a dwarf having some potions at his girdle... are you able to use ?health/mana?- potions while you're fighting? Are these abilities shown in the vid accessible for any race or are there restrictions (like building this machinegun for example)? |
