Hello ppl i discover this game recently and was really happy for what i've seeing. is the first game that i stop to post about the game and first game forum wich the admin answer every thread with cool question about the game like how much time u need to make this or why we no do that
well... the game goes pretty well its very cool how is the fight style and the character animations but im a little concern about how is going to be the character customization
im corius about if u do a character customization system to modify the chin, eyes, nose, muscles, and that things will be a great work i know that will be hard but there u will have ur unique character for you and will be a great point that will bring attention to the game also u can make a armor painting system that makes less work of gears sets and get entreteined the ppl with that and gives u time for make more sets after and u can make accsesories for the gear like quivers for the bows and swords rings tatoos for the armor and the skin, feathers that u can put on ur helmet or shoulders, when u get an upgrade on ur armor the armor will be change some things like if had a leather reinforcement now will have a mail reinforcemnt and there u will feel good with ur character because u can customize like u want and be that character that represent u in the arena 100 % and this is the way that u get the same armor but uber customizated (i dont know if that word exist ''customizated XD'') and without make a new gearset well thats about the character customization another great point that can be worked is about the animation well u are fight and details that make the experience a such great thing inside the game like...(the animations are really impresive right now)

first of all, the weapons needs a realistic managment like when u start to cast a fireball the character sheathe the weapon because the magics pockets didnt exist even in a magic world or never sheathe the weapon and hold always with the weapon on the hand this is a very easy solution and more realistic then the weapon dissapear when u throw a spell
aah and this help when u use the character if u see the weapons on the back help to the character cosmetics is going to be really badass with that axes on the back or something like that u know

Escenarios if can be broken with the cryengine 3 phisics will be alot more awesome u will spend a 3 hours per day trying to someone throw u agains a wall and the same break in alots of pieces but i dont know how this will be work online time because the lag and that

later this is complicated but if can be done will be a great point in realistic fight for expample when u got feared or u mistake with the movement and jump from some place with the back u need to fall to the ground and loose time in the battle so makes a close combat more realistic and a new thing that no one game has implemented
i saw when the dwarf shoots and the orcs covers that is amazing stuff and if u still implementing thing like this the game will have alots of points of interest

well i wrote allot of things for now i hope that saw this post and can put on work thanks for ur time buddies and hopethis game get on stores rreally soon aahh i for get it make the game a one purchase buy like guild wars because that u have to pay per month is rreally annoing and later when someone leaves the game will hate u because all the money that he spend per month and realize that he can buy a house with that money =D bear this in mind (SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH IM ARGENTINIAN)!!!

Thanks men for that thread is true about to answer some questions so is going to be like Guntz the game style all on the arena, still fine for me the guntz was really cool but his graphics was old already, but about costumization about to modify the eyes nose and that stuff have to get include in because IMO when ur character is more detailed and customizable as u want a part of u will be calm when u play the character and unconsciously u will be happy with that because u say yes the escenarios and arenas is okey u spend ur time there but the 100% u character will be there with u xD so if u can make more perfect the character in every way will be better and going to have a indisputable character creation and many games have their strong and this game has the potencial to achieve it the APB has that customization realy cool but the graphics didnt get my point and is in another time and another world also u have to paid per month that sucks.... the fight style is realy good like now in Forged by Chaos but i think that need that character customization This project also has the potential to lift your name on high mybe the next Blizzard :shock: keep your work guys thanks for u time

About character customization. Current facial animation technology cannot give such level of customization as you described. Unfortunately there's not much to change in your face. We still working on that and trying to develop different ways to customize character but it is not our primary task.

aaaah well if is about that is ok then with a change of face texture like the wow is going to be cool because has a 223435353 more polygons then wow characters so a change of face textures changing a little facial dimensions and something like that is going to kick asses anyway thanks for the answer buddie aah i forget it iis going to be male and female? i dont care really also is multiply the work alot but another persons like that is good a male elf but i like the humans :)

In my experience, triangle count is more important than polygon count.

For example, a good triangle count on a weapon is >5000. Polygons are important as well, but efficient triangle use= more important, as it lowers polygon count as well. :)

To be able to change your own face like that, Panzar would have to make several different facial editors in the game to do this, and it would be much harder to achieve efficient use of triangles, so it is really not worth the effort.

Customization will be left after the release mate :) let the devs do their job on more important stuff :)

I really care more about gameplay than my character's face. One reason is that my character's face will probably be bashed in more than a few times in this game. :D

Yeah u right guys but the another points is about the gameplay also i hope they can do upgrades after and thats is all that i need to hear because i know they will get care of that thing after the game get popularity and make money ! 8-) thats is all a want more work after the release and take on count stuff like that to make better the game and you guys rise in the market and kickasses i dont know a such great medieval game about 2005 so this year is ur time guys
