On the defender side, the crumbled down entry way, on the left hand side of the opening to the middle, can be climbed. You can stand up there and shoot or build a gun emplacement. It is tricky to climb and can be difficult for a melee to knock you off.
Also, You can carry in wood and block off the doors on the left and right of the capture point.
