The merge is exactly right.. I pull most games with Russia and also a lot with Eu.

Something for us playing on the US server to remember is the game has been out much longer in RU and EU. The players have had more practice and some have fully geared/upgraded their class. This does make a difference on the field of battle, so don't get discouraged when you get one-shot by someone or rolled by a group.
Also take notice to the clans that are currently playing in the RU/EU tournaments (Armada, Exclusive, Mystery (I think that's the name), etc...), there is a lot you can learn from the folks playing at this level.....
