NA Server, Panzar, and stuff
So, disclaimer. THIS IS MY OPINION. The US server has tanked for now. The new patch is cool, this patch is the only reason I have logged on and some of my fellow clan mates. It's obvious why this server has tanked, there has been little to no improvements or reason to play this game long term or improvements.. besides the double xp time and the new patch being changed today, there were 5 people on gen chat. Its great that these things were implemented, although there is no longevity of this server. The player base being so low is the death right now.
Reasons in my opinion: - No tournaments even considered or advertised. Understandable there is not the players. - No Forums on Panzar.US - No major advertisement or stream of new players being generated. - Que times are bad for new characters or at least they were before this patch.. (I assume its changed now) - No reason to pay for this game when no tournaments, or players are even on our server. - No reason to play everyday to farm the ammys and runes without a reason to use it besides pubs - Its very time consuming for ammys or runes. I suggest stuff with no feedback from devs. - As it seems right now the more you play the more your rating goes down. Backwards. - I understand that Panzar Studios likes to be secretive about business and projects they work on to surprise us. Which I think is awesome. What I dont think is awesome is that alot of us who really enjoy this game and have been playing for awhile make suggestions yet we never get an answer from Panzar.. always whitewolf answers for us ) .. on we will look into this and get back to you (Thanks Wolf) or we don't like this idea because blank. Or that would be a problem or awesome cause blank.
My bottom line up front, is we are the customers and also the ones who care about your game, we are dying off one by one slowly, In my opinion due to some of the reasons above. I did not create a post to flame Panzar Studios, that fact I'm writing this post shows I actually care and just haven't ditched this game. I'm on your side Panzar, deleting this post will only further encourage people leaving or validate some of my points, so just reply to it the best you can. This is only my opinion on why the NA server is broken, things to address in Panzar, and what is killing the game for alot of players and stuff. Most of the ideas are not new they are just not addressed formally on the forum by developers and its discouraging to players.
I hope you guys understand and get the meaning of my post and don't just toss it as hate, cause its not. Its only my blunt opinion for suggestions or feedback from a dedicated player to the developers and managers of the company who made Panzar.

Devastation, I have forwarded this question to Queen Bee. She will answer soon. In the meantime: There is a list of suggestions Click herethat I think should be used for all new suggestion. There was a post about suggestions from players to Devs. Click hereThere is a post that is telling you what Panzar is going to do. http://www.panzar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=12084 You already know that Panzar likes working secretively, this means that we need to wait and see.

Re: NA Server, Panzar, and stuff
Dear Devastation, Here is the situation and information so far about the US server. So far and for the moment, the US server is a technical exercise, a test if you like. This is why there is no advertising, no social system, no tournaments and generally no CM. We do not plan to extend or modify this in the near future. Players are welcome to use the US server for public battles. For the social structure (tournaments, chat, forum etc), players are requested to log on to the EU server. If you are in North America and play through Steam, you will not be able to access EU server. Please follow this link to set up a EU server account.

Re: NA Server, Panzar, and stuff
uh, ouch. We could do a lot of this on our own with a little support. I believe Dev has the biggest clan on this server and it looks like we could easily make 2 tourney teams. I'll wait to see how dev wants to handle this.

Re: NA Server, Panzar, and stuff
So I started over and made a new account just to get on the US server for nothing. It's empty and apparently even the devs don't take it seriously and it's only for "testing".
Well, thanks for letting new users know about that when they signup. What game this long after a release can't at least inform their users of these things, let alone just have one account that works everywhere?

First. Thank you for a response! Its much appreciated. | | | | White Wolf wrote: Devastation, In the meantime: There is a list of suggestions Click herethat I think should be used for all new suggestion. White Wolf: I have looked at the links you posted. It was not intended for a suggestion thread. It is the reasons in my opinion why the US server has not been successful and why they have players leaving, gen chat should be appropriate I would think. I didn't give ideas to fix the problems, there are enough ideas floating around the threads you posted. Although, http://www.panzar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=12084 has only a 2-3 minor items we have suggested.. for example - Players can upgrade while waiting for Battle or - Changes to Skills Tree. Which is nice to see, where is the post from the Panzar Developers or managers stating what they think are great ideas to implement or feedback from what we have suggested. My point is there is no discussion which suggestions are possible or not or even considered. We are the players who promote, play, and depending spend money on this game, yet we don't talk back and forth with the developers? We have been forced to just spamming problems and issues or suggestions because we do not know what they think, which I'm sure there tired of it by now. SO SECRETIVE. I get that. In my opinion, there should be information to be discussed and information to be kept quiet. Queen: Here is a thread asking about the server being made with no response http://www.panzar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12014 There are posts in this thread about the US Server being online. Why not mention it was a test server??? http://www.panzar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=12088Basically the same question being posted at the beginning of the month, with no answer then or information. You were hunting orcs but no one else answered it. Thumbs up to killreal for fixing the times like he mentioned. Yet nothing else was answered and info wasn't passed then about the status of the server http://www.panzar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12207If I hadnt kept bugging and asking this question then when were the US players going to find this out?? weeks, months, a year from now?? I dont understand why this wasnt made very apparent when the first information came about. VERY DISCOURAGING AND DISHEARTENING to hear this almost 2 months later.. Here is the issue with this for Americans. I have played on EU server for quite sometime before the US server began "testing". The problems at the time on the EU server with the tournaments and latency issues were very clear. Their was limited connectivity for anyone playing from the US. Which makes the US server so amazing for us to continue to play on. Slightly better connection when joining matches currently and it would be outstanding quality if we had enough players to populate our own games. The tournaments on the other hand do not work for most Americans who currently are employed seeing how they go from noon to 1:30-2 pm. Which I have had a conversation with you about. I appreciate you making a poll http://www.panzar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=12074 Yet Europeans do not want this, so Americans are out of luck if they play EU as you suggest. Overall, I guess I just needed to point this out and voice my opinion. I do have a large clan on the US server currently and could create tournament teams although most players have taken a break for various reasons ive mentioned in my earlier post. I hope the fact I care about your game and voice my opinion matters to you guys at Panzar. I will not be actively playing until I see the future courses of action, I have no reason to continue for now. I would just hope you guys try to understand my view and work on getting better at some of the points I mentioned. Look forward to seeing the game after I return from a deployment, hopefully most of these issues are worked out. I look forward to your feedback on things ive addressed.

We understand your questions, doubts and concerns. However, we are unable to bring a better answer to the table. We hope that you will stick with us as the path unfolds in front of Panzar.
