What is raptr? It's a program that allows you to chat with other gamers while playing the game. You can also talk to other people using different chat programs such as AIM, SKYPE(msn), YAHOO Messenger, Facebook IM, etc. You can also talk to your friends at PlayStation Network, xbox Live, Wii, STEAM, etc. All you have to do is connect these accounts to your raptr account. This is what makes this program great. One central application for all your gaming and non-gaming networks.

Raptr have a rank system base on how many hours a gamer spends on a specific game.

For example:

Amateur...............5hrs.......................50 crafting materials
Experienced.........10hrs.....................10 energy potions
Dedicated............15hrs.....................15 mana potions

Raptr tells the gamer/player they earned a reward where they can 'claim' it and be given a code to input either on the games website or while in the game.

Thanks for this suggestion. Let's see how things turns out in the future.

Its the same guys that made xfire network, well...the original devs. They left xfire after it was bought by some company. Then they made raptr. They're really similar except raptr allows you to track gaming time manually. Most xfire users like me-self left and went to raptr. Some stayed in xfire like most of my e-friends. Thats why you'll see xfire has more userbase, 24million compared to raptr's 19million.




When I made this post, there were literally only a few of us in raptr, like less than a hundred. Now there's around 11 thousand!! (with 900 active) Great to see a program and a game that I both like coming along together just fine
