you're right but I only have 20 points to spend in the tree and I thought that the right strategy is to maximize the turret with shields traps and tesla, to maximize the support, but to do that I would spend 17 points, the remaining points where I put them?

Give gun sapper. For the gunner it is absolutely useless

I dont have a gun at all for my gunnar, for me maximising effectiveness is all about staying in your turret. Make it, move it and get as many points as you can until you can set up a proper defence. I also went for gravity mines over enlarged barrel, as I would rather have the ability to set up a defence which can keep my gun alive, than have increased damage on a gun which can be easily wiped. That and the fact that watching inqs / zerks flying around above me and dieing to teslars whilst I keep shooting is very funny.
