Re: Farewell panzar.
Nosforia - I didn't say Panzar is perfect, in fact I'm hoping to see something much bigger, and if you check my old replies you will see a lot of criticism from me.
What I said is even that Panzar needs a lot improvements and fixes, it doesn't mean they can give you something for free. It's just too risky for such a small studio. That's a logical way of thinking. You don't want to spend money for this game at this moment because something is pissing you off - fine, I get it. But you can be still here only because of players that are paying. Some players want to support this game because they want to play the better Panzar, other players want to support "free" mates to get everything what real support gets. You are wrong if you think that you're the people who will make this game alive.

Do u think Nelson Mandela stopped fighting for democracy in his country? Maybe these examples are a bit extreme compared to this, but you can't give up fighting for a purpose. The prices are ridiculous, and maybe they don't want to reduce it because they know the playerbase is low, and they wont get more players when they change the prizes instantly. If people keep complaining about it, there must be something wrong. I've never seen a guy saying the cash shop was cheap.
I understand the extremance(?) but all the things you mentioned are about ..slavery. How can players-wanting-lower-prices be in any way compared to slaves Oo You do not have to pay at all, no one makes you do anything you don't want to. If ppl keep complaining about it, I am guessing that it's caused by the prices in the past. If the prices where like this since the beginning, who would complain.. @Reyon, as I said, 'Everyone has this problem so no one is in worse situation'. And yeah, it is fun especially if you beat such players. Even more fun dont you think? ^^ @nosforia, Panzar must have something in it if despite all the drawbacks and so many better games still keeps you here, which is for not a little time I guess.

And if u want we can OPEN A DISCUSSION about mmorpg games experience and in what games it is worth to pay and give money and i can tell u how many money i have spent in mmo games that i have played and i m player since DAOC 2001.Panzar is a SIMPLE mmo arena battle game with poor and low engine that we can compare anytime u want, but if U HAD experience u wouldnt tell words like these things u said.

Re: Farewell panzar.
At some point of progress players notice that they're dying very quickly. Only very patient player will stay and see what his character needs to be equal. If he can't handle it he leaves the game forever. That's about free players. I'd like to play pay2play model of Panzar with a huge playerbase so noone will be weak and it would be really all about player skills. But I'm going too far. Another thing is, that Panzar doesn't contain much content. And also errors that still waiting for fix. We heard about new things that are coming out and that's hopeful. I'm aware of these things. I'm not defending developers if that's what you think. Too early for applause. And when I come back I don't want to see Panzar EU dead. I hope so. It's all about fun but I want this game to be better same as you. I can't say as I stopped playing. It wasn't satisfactory when I played. I think the merge was always necessary.

Re: Farewell panzar.
We do not know their income but we are capable of basic math. There are only few active players in EU. And a good part of those do not buy anything at all because it is too expensive. People rather play (partially) without runes and amus, which significantly reduces the fun because it is not what you could call competitive play. Without competitive play I see no growth in player base. Reality underlines this impression, how did the EU playerbase develop since release? And I ask you Xylar, do you think that Panzar Studios are on top of their problems and know what they are doing? You are certain they have the perfect masterplan to convert this game into a huge success? How naive! I say that they shall listen to their community, because the community is their capital. Of course they can not (and should not) try to fulfill everybodies wishes. But there are certain core issues that arise over and over again. These they need to address!

Re: Farewell panzar.
Xylar, I won't quote the text before this because it would make a long post. But I am done talking to you after this post. You seem to not understand the purpose of something. Ofcourse i can't compare this to slavery (lol), but as mentioned it was about something people would keep fighting for. And yes, there will always be people who don't like something, and they will cry about this. BUT, if 95% of the community thinks that way, and panzar doesn't want to change this, do you think people will just stop arguing about it? No. And if panzar doesn't want to do anything about it, they will lose players, like they already lost many. The one thing that they shouldn't have done is the increased cash shop when it was already overpriced for casual players who didn't have the time to farm it.
You can kind of compare this game to battlefield heroes cash shop, you just get oneshot because the other guy got bought gear.. ( in panzar's case amulet/gear/runes)

Re: Farewell panzar.
@Lanfear, every time I am in game with 30 levels, half or more of them pay for the game. And you'll never make all of players do so, imho a half is a quite good result ^^. The community didn't increase much because of lack of big advertising, which was in conversations not once already. No, I am definetely sure you do know better. Nothing personal of course. Let me just stay with my opinion that they know better if they ARE earning money or not, and if they get better or worse benefit than in the past. +@Bumbalou, You know.. It's just.. The ones who don't have any problems, stay quiet usually, that's I think where the impression of the '95% of the community' (which is still exaggerated )comes from. I don't think these ppl are ever going to stop arguing There is always some reason to find. The community is growing, one old player leaving is replaced by 5 guys joining, I guess 2 of which will stay for longer. And for the last sentence - exactly, that's why this game is a p2w game and I don't think you really claim that decreasing prices 2 times would make it less p2w. Only a radical change would make more ppl pay, as if you want to pay, you will, doesnt matter if it is 3 or 5 dollars. And radical decrease in prices wouldn't ever increase the company's income.
