Heya ;D Each day we are getting closer to 2011 and since The dev team is moving to another engine, ive been asking myself if you guys got any plan for the Beta, the way of selection,the time and how ?

I'm ready for the beta anytime between now and March 2011. After that I'll be busy and probably won't be able to play.

Orc Camp would probably be a good beta map, or that one arena that you guys showed AGES ago.

I think beta will be pushed father to the next year. Now we are sure that we will not have simultaneously release for all regions. We will keep updated everyone on the forum as far as we have certain dates. But for now I can only say - we are moving on, the game looks great, you will have more updates in a near future.

I know I've asked something similar before, but can you give system reqs? I really wanna be sure I can run this

We are moving to CE3 now and Sysreq will be changed. We will have some certain position on it a little bit later. I think recommended spec will be the same - 8800 gtx for 25 fps on high spec configs with 24 players on screen.

Im more interested in what processor will be the recommended system requirements. I have a Intel Dual Core E6750, which was fine for the CryEngine 2, but maybe CryEngine 3 will require more of a Quad Core setup, like the Frostbite Engine from DICE.

Im hoping that my Nvidia GeForce GTX285 can handle the CryEngine 3 just fine though, because i dont want to upgrade to the GT460 yet.

aw, crap. I hadn't even thought of this I have a very early dual core (Pentium 4 I think) would that work?

Yes, a Pentium 4 will work... Just not enjoyably, you'll get about 30fps playing at 720p running low if your lucky. Just drop $400 and upgrade to an i5 750 setup.

I personally think 30 fps is tolerable, and I wish I had the spare cash to get on a new i5
