So, I've noticed sometimes you do get points for capturing points and what not, but why not all the time?

As a tank, a lot of times to win the game I just turtle up in the control point, block everything and collect our team points. The problem is when I don't get points/experience for doing this. I don't get rewarded for doing my role, tanking the damage.

So my suggestion is, after a certain amount of time start distributing points to someone standing on the control point. like after 10 seconds of being in the circle, every second after that get a point?

It promotes completing objectives, and rewards those for doing so. Makes the early levels more obvious for new players.

I also support this. It gives people more attracted to go to mid instead of spawnkilling and make the game more enjoyable.
Most people go spawnkill to get more kills and resources.

I hate to brag, but literally on some games as tank I can stay in the circle the entire game and never lose any points for our team, but my personal score may be AWFUL. Its really annoying, because I am probably a big reason if not he biggest reason for the win, but I don't get any recognition

Yeah, there was a discussion about that before. Just because of this noone stays in the Middle and they go for Point Hunting so the Game Objective totally fails. There should be a change and that would be really nice.

The same system that Panzar RU for this point on the objectives could be really good !
You win really more point, and we see less spawn kill.

Yesterday I was in a Game where the losing team all had twice as many points as the winning team. That shouldn't happen
