Post Dwarwen Quarry Map needs fix.
The Dwarwen Quarry map, the one with the 3rd point on a spinning mining thingy bridge, needs 1 cannon near 3rd point or TNT piles close by.
When the defending team have 4 teslas, like 8 traps + teleporter and 2 gunners with tanks/zerkers protecting them they win 9/10 times.

They melt in 3sec from moving into gunner fire + 2 clubs to the face. I've gone up there as tank and died in 6-7 sec.
That 3rd point needs a fix. Which I think will never happen, just sayin.

yep, if there is no skyfire to be used, then its pretty much 90% impossible to capture it.
ofc if that other team knows how to set up defence there

To make the point usefull you need to know how to defend it , Thats skills, For every great defence there is Counter, Lets think if you get those teslas off
After that you get ice witz there , Mayby Skyfire? It may seem op at low levels , But it's easy to capture once you get the defence off from there it freepoint.
And its only hard point to capture in whole map , others are so easy to capture so its good that there is something to fight for in that map.

I agree with ZerZer, the rest of the map is very tough to defend for any length of time. Point 3 is pretty much make or break for the defenders. The key thing for the attackers is someone actually communicating and getting everyone to push at once to wipe the defence. Go in behind tank shield wall, zerks and inqs push for defences with support from mages. Had this happen the other day, where the attackers held the end of the platform behind a shield wall for long enough to get gunnars set up. They broke our defence in stage 1 and importantly took down the TP, we did not have the time or CP to set up again and they took the point on second push.

On the other side I played a defensive game on there last night, where we lost the first two points instantly, then held the 3rd for the rest of the map. So I agree it is tough but dont think it should be changed.

communicating you say? There is maybe 1 or 2 tops per game in your team that knows what they are doing. If you try to organize something you have some polish dude going "durka durka" and run face first into 4 teslas. When the enemy team is set up on bridge with 2-4 teslas, 2 gunners, traps and spawners your team just spawns and streams into that bridge 1 or 2 at the time and die for 13 min straight.

Iv'e seen the defence broken down once in maybe 20+ games. That is when I was fire mage and took out 2 gunners and we got a lucky spawn when the whole team basicly rushed in because they saw that we were low on time.

Your teams gunners will be way less effective if they set up shop outside the bridge since its rotating. Your teams gunners rarely get to get their guns up anyway; and if they do its usually in a very bad spot.

Hey dude don't you tag people or nationalities present here, it's very unkind man, maybe there are a lot of Polish kids here, but, well, i think if we talk about the nations out of Gr. Britain, Panzar is the most popular is in Poland (I only guess it looking at number of people on Polish chat compared to others). And I guess the word you tried to quote is 'durak' which is not Polish but Czech word.
And I'd say a half of my games on that map finished farther than on the 3rd point. It's for sure the case of communication, even if you play with newbies/noobs you somehow have to get to them and make them work efficiently.

We played Durak at school in the breaks between lessons. It's a card game we learned from our russian classmate and she told us it means "fool" in russian. Maybe the word exists in more than one language.
Good old times... [/offtopic]
