I think the main question that keep people awake at night is :
What will happen if I have one account on the Russian Server and one account on the European Server sharing the same mail address and the same character's name ?

Does both datacenters will explode ?
Does Queen Bee will tidy up her messy head ?
Who win a match to the death between the Russian Tephis and the European one ?

I think they have the same rules anyway, so reporting the bad behavior to any support (either eu's or ru's) would be effective.

Due to the TOTAL CHAOS IN CHAOSPHERE as you already know - or will know soon, when you read the new rules - I have not had time to post my answers to these questions. I will try publish them tomorrow.

My question: Why got RU first a topic about this? I know Queen said it in a Stream but maybe many interestings are in the topic. Like what happens with same name on EU and RU? What is the merge?

The merge is a practical answer to one of our main issues on the European Server right now - slow match-making. Europe is spread over limited time zones (2 - 3) and is a recent server, for this reason, match-making is slow early in the morning, medium during the day and good at peak times at night. A server spread over many time zones with many players will have good match-making speeds at all times.
So, in short, the merge is our solution to optimise match-making time.

How is it going to work?

When match-making is slow on EU, the system will put players into matches on the closest server (decided by fastest ping).

What happens to RU - EU accounts?

RU and EU servers will stay separate. The databases for RU and EU are separate. Each player base has different ID numbers for player accounts. If you have accounts on both servers, nothing will change.

RU - EU Social Structures, Groups, Chat and Clans/Tournaments

RU - EU chat systems, tournament, contests and social system (friends, clans, groups) will remain separate. You might be put in a public match with players from RU, but they will not be able to communicate with you (no chat), they will not be able to friend you or invite you to a clan on RU or group together for matches.
Tournaments and Clans on EU servers are reserved for players who signed up on EU servers. Players with RU accounts cannot play in these tournament or join you clans.

Battle Chat

Battle chat is open to all players during the match, from all servers.

Complaints

Flaming, cheats and any other complaints must be sent to the community email of your server. For Europe, this is community_eu@panzar.com.

The limitations of our Merge?

The hardest issue for us and you is the separation of Social Structures. It is a bit hard to imagine and not perfect as you can see. Here are the reasons we chose to keep the Social Structures separate as a first step towards a better match-making system.
RU and EU have 2 different main languages. Russia and this region share Russian as main communication language. Europe is more diverse and English is the main language. Contests and Tournaments can and are sponsored by partner companies. They are limited by region where they work. Prizes are reserved exclusively to a specific geographic region, Russian companies = Russia and CIS - European companies = Europe.


My slots are full so my RU char will not be able to be added what will happen?

Your accounts will not be merged - so there is no worry. However, Tephis, if somehow, you are matched with your RU Tephis, pls pls pls stream the match.

I need to reach level 30 with my EU Tephis, the Russian one is a cheater he's already 30 !
