Before the merge traceroutes told me that the gameserver was located in north france.
After the merge traceroutes tell me that the gameserver is located in russia.

I havent played for a few days but on the first day I noticed the change about lags too, however im not sure of it as in general it is possible for me to have the lags at the time I played the game that day. To be checked yet.

When there are not enough matches on Euro server, the game sends you to the nearest server with a match (it could be US or Russia) depending on where you are.

I asked the team and apparently if the lags are linked to the SFR ISP, there is nothing we can do about it :(

We are making reports about the lags though, because it is possible that some far away places may have ping issues - but for Europe, the ping difference between the EU players and the RU server is so small that it is not the cause of lags.

Btw have lags too. Sometimes skills dont work from the first try or power attack deals no damage. Or first you are dead and only second later after that u see the animation of zerker power attack (obviously ping). Checked ru forum some players there also have similar problems now.

Okay, so the servers in Europe are still active. Great to hear that.
Before the merge I was always routed to france. After the merge I made a few traceroutes when my teammates told me that they have lags and I got to the same russian server 3 matches in a row.
Since we are from switzerland and germany we generally have a better ping to france than to russia.

I did not experience lag spikes so far. The only ping/interpolate related thing is that Inqs and Zerks now have 30meter-radius-attacks and not only the 20meter like before, which makes running from and blocking their attacks even harder.

I was playing on ru server before with no lags.

We get more lags in night than afternoon, it'snt just a big ping , it's freez 1 or 2 sec freeze.

I got no lag on other games , smite , lol , sc2.

You're not playing on the same server so there is no point to say you have no lags on other games. Try to play with a vpn if it change something.
