Re: Farewell panzar.
How can you know that 50% of players pay? And even if this was the case, how much and for how long would they pay? And given the small player base, at any rate, in absolute numbers it would not be THAT much money. As for the player base, you say the only reason is advertising. That is bullshit, look what happened when the game has been put on steam. A LOT of new players tried it out, but only very few stayed with the game. One main reason being the P2W policy. Just check the steam forums... All those posting in this thread (and also the other former MVP guys) believe that this game has potential, because it can be really fun to play. But the key is to provide a competitive level playing ground, as it is absolutely mandatory for a PVP game. P2W, as it is now, clearly detriments this goal. But arguing with you, dear Xylar, is obviously futile

Re: Farewell panzar.
Apparently I lied in my last post because this post is for you again Xylar. You can't "know" that people paid for it or not. As for myself, I am still surviving on the crystals gained from tournaments, and the last time i paid for panzar was months ago. One of the reasons I could still survive and play with all runes/amu, is because I played panzar like.. 8 hours a day. And u must understand that, even if people bought from the cash shop, it doesn't assure you that you can go on from that point without paying anytime soon. Because people who want to play panzar casual, are forced to pay every week. And that is where the problem is. And as mentioned before, a 2014 game can't have a cash shop like this and expect the community to grow, because almost any other game with a high playerbase is free to play and the cash shop only offers cosmetics. Not something which actually stops you from being competetive or having fun.

Re: Farewell panzar.
I think the primary problem with the Steam signup is people keep ending up on the non NA server. My bud did it. They have to redownload the entire game if they ever know that is the problem. Many people ask about this on the in game chat and I have to tell them how to do it. Also, if they end up with those other versions they think the game is laggy and crashes a lot. My version rarely crashes or has lag. The other issue with the NA server is longish game matches. Most of us aren't patient. Once our pop increases this issue will be moot but until then if folks have to wait more than 5 min they get impatient and whine in the steam chat and in game. I just switch characters or read.

Re: Farewell panzar.
@Lanfear, it is easily noticeable by their colorful, full eq, while in general full eq is rare met on not-paying players. Again, I am sure you can know if they earn more than they did.
In the rush hour as far as I remember there used to be up to 150 ppl on global chat before steam. Now it is 300 (speaking of EU server) or more. I think its a good change (2x as much).
I agree with that too. The game has huge potential, but it is a p2w game which frightens new ppl. But I guess this is not going to ever stop being p2w. And no possible change in prices would change the fact.
Arguing you say, yeah, I don't actually have a clue how you can know better about how-to-earn-more-money than all the management. Besides so called logic there are many more things.
@Bumbalou, let's say a half of the guys I mentioned about got the crystals from the tournaments. It is still 25% who pay. It is a lot, I think. I agree with the idea of only cosmetics being paid. But I really doubt it is gonna happen.

Re: Farewell panzar.
Those guys are russian and they have lvl 30 for ages. Maybe they only bought colors and farmed the rest. Moreover, prices are much cheaper for russians! If they would do this for EU it would be fine for me already. Then you could compensate for a lack of time by paying a reasonable amount of money. You could have several full equipped characters and play competitively. In general, I think paying some money for a game is fair. (And I guess many people think so. In other f2p games that only offer cosmetic stuff for money it seems to work, too.) And we think that it would be possible for Panzar Studios to go away from p2w and be more successful in doing so. Because more people would play. You underestimate the power of logic . Of course, there are details we do not know. But I think in this case the bigger picture we see is sufficient to come to a conclusion. Incidentally, Zera reposted one of my recent posts on this matter on steam. The Panzar developer posting there agreed with the post. I quote below.

Re: Farewell panzar.
Hey Guys, maybe you will return to this topic one last time to see my farewell message. It's been a pleasure to play with you However, I am sure there is a whole thread offering feedback to the developers - you can go there and post your ideas - it's more constructive. And I am also sure that there are other threads where you can debate how horribly awful it is to give Panzar money for amulets and runes - and I even bet the topic starts with something like Panzar P2W ... So for now I am closing this thread. I'll be back on Tuesday in the office with a tan and lots of energy to make Panzar better!
