I'm located in Canada and downloaded Panzar via Steam and it auto selected the server to EU, ping is ok but could be better loading times for matchmaking can be long 10-20mins or longer, I was thinking of spending money on the game but not sure if I should switch servers because of the long waiting times would it even be worth the money if I can't even play a match very often, would anyone know which server would be more playable for my location and player count?

there is only one game server. others are location servers. if anything, you should go straight to RU zone. that is the best place to be game-wise. go to panzar.com / select zone: Russian / select language: English / click Download client.

advantage of other location servers is that you will find a small number of people speaking english, while RU server has mostly russian speaking people, however the player base of panzar of english/russian is about 1:20 or something like that, so in game you will see those proportions.

the reason there are seperate location servers is that long ago each zone had a seperate server. there were many people who spent money on the game, others won a gazillion crystals in tournaments, some are still winning now due to low competition, and they do not want to give that up. since going to another server means you have to start the game from scratch.

i would see the best option would be to offer a server transfer to those people and concentrate the population to one server, but that is not the case and it seems panzar wants to keep the locations seperate, to make it look more popular. power in disguise

Ah ok, thanks so my best bet is go to the RU location and upgrade my account there? also downloading the RU client and made sure everything is set to english but it's all still in russian and at the launcher will the text in game still be in russian?, I won't be able to read anything..and if I try to buy something it's shown in RUB even at check out so I have no idea what the pricing is in or what it would show on my statement...

yes, the game itself will be in english. the pricing is usually cheaper on ru. i would wait before you buy anything to see if you enjoy the game, or get a premium for a week or two first.

the RU zone, which is the main zone and the actual server will provide you with long term game, since as long as panzar is alive ru server will be there, while EU is questionable, since it has such a low playerbase. it could happen that it recover, but it could happen that they close it or any other possibility, so if you plan to buy anything you will be safer on ru.

EU is good for communication, RU is good for gameplay, if i had to sum that up in one sentence. see which one is more important for you.

Ah, damn thanks man I ended up getting premium on the EU and bought a few items already I ended up getting alot of matches and seen alot of people with VIP and I figured I'd get it on there and most of my friends ended up going on EU, I'll still consider the RU server though, if I end up playing on there I don't mind starting over and getting VIP again, I'll just put up with EU for now, I'll write your name down but I got a month left on the premium so I'm not sure how active you are or if you will be playing then

EU doesn't seem to be too bad, getting alot of matches now I was mainly cautious at first because I was waiting over 30mins for a match so it seemed dead at the time I forgot about the time difference.
